Last Thursday and Friday, HAC Preschoolers put on their backpacks, many of them for the first time, and headed back to school. For many first-timers, leaving mom and dad is difficult, but not for our little champions! Our tots set the standard high with just a few mild whines as moms and dads said goodbye on those first couple of days.
All of our classes began with their “All About Me” theme for September. Our “2s” practiced hand-eye coordination through coloring and play. HAC “3s” practiced name recognition by tracing their names with paint, counting the letters of their names, and shared about themselves with their teacher, Ms. Meg, and classmates. The “4s” kicked off “All About Me” by beginning their family tree!
Overall, the children seemed to enjoy their first week of school, and when asked what he learned in class, one preschooler in the 3s class reported back, “I learned about fun!”
